Booking and Payment Terms
- Reservations can be made via our website, by telephone, or directly at our Tonbridge office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. Full payment and a security deposit are generally required at the time of vehicle pickup. All prices are in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, processed securely through trusted payment providers.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of vehicle collection in Tonbridge, it is important to conduct a thorough inspection and report any pre-existing damage without delay. - The vehicle must not be used for any unlawful activities. This includes racing, rallying, off-road driving, or any actions that may pose risks. Transporting hazardous materials is prohibited. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. Additionally, the vehicle should not be used for purposes beyond its design, exceeding passenger or weight limits, or venturing outside the agreed geographical boundaries without prior consent.
Violation of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and extra fees.
8. Liability Restrictions
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire in Tonbridge accepts no responsibility for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our liability for any claims will be capped at the total amount paid for rentals in the previous year. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury due to negligence or fraud.
